As part of implementing the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Kozybayev University supports Goal 5 – achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls.
Kozybayev University adheres to the principles of equal opportunities for everyone, regardless of sex, gender, or social status. The university systematically implements a gender equality policy aimed at creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive educational environment.
Monitoring and Reporting System
The university systematically measures and monitors key indicators reflecting the participation of women in academic and professional activities.
An annual report is prepared each year, including data on:
- the number of applications submitted by women for admission and employment;
- their acceptance rates for employment and educational programs;
- the proportion of women receiving academic degrees;
- the representation of women among senior faculty members and research staff.

The university has developed and is implementing Policy on Ensuring Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) and Preventing Discrimination , aimed at ensuring equal access for women to education, employment, and career advancement.
