Historical and linguistic problems of national onomastics on the territory of the North Kazakhstan region as an important direction of work on educating youth in Kazakhstani patriotism

Amount of financing: 27,000,000 tenge.
Project goal: To create a systematized, objective historical picture of migration processes in the North Kazakhstan region and its impact on socio-cultural and ethnolinguistic processes.
Expected results: Creation of popular science films, writing of local history literature for young people. The research results will be presented in scientific articles, monographs, textbooks and teaching aids. It is planned to publish a collection of documents and a bibliographic dictionary on this subject on the basis of the materials collected in the archives of Kazakhstan and Russia.
Description of the project: In his article “Looking into the future. Spiritual modernization "The First President of Kazakhstan N.А. Nazarbayev noted the special importance of the Tugan Zher program as the basis for the patriotic education of Kazakhstanis at a new stage in the country's development. We are talking about the significance of events in historical local history. Onomastics is an important component of local history. The territory of Northern Kazakhstan, located at the junction of the Eurasian continent, is special in terms of its inhabiting peoples since ancient times. The Kazakh lands adjacent to Western Siberia concentrated different cultures of many peoples.
Project objectives:
- to study and prepare a monographic study on the consequences of uncontrolled resettlement from Russia for 250 years and its impact on the national onomastics of the Kazakh people;
- create an electronic database of onomastic data in the form of an independent portal;-create a scientific basis for an onomastic dictionary;
- to create an anthroponymic dictionary based on the results of research in the field;
- to prepare an explanatory toponomic dictionary.
