Trends in Higher Agricultural Education Discussed at International Level

Member of the Board for Innovation and Internationalization Aigul Nurpeissova and Dean of the Agrotechnological Faculty of Kozybayev University Altyn Shayahmetova took part in the third Forum of Rectors of Agricultural Universities of the SCO Countries, which was held in China. More than 80 representatives from 30 universities and research institutes of 9 countries gathered to discuss new challenges and prospects for agricultural education in terms of digitalization. This was followed by a Forum of Rectors of Chinese and foreign universities, where issues of international cooperation, innovation, and exchange of experience to improve the quality of educational programs were discussed.

This intense cycle ended with participation in the 90th anniversary conference of the North-West A&F University, a strategic partner of Kozybayev University. Our university has been cooperating with it for more than 7 years. Joint research projects and double degree programs are being implemented. Participation in such significant events, along with world leaders in agricultural higher education, emphasizes the importance of strengthening partnerships in the scientific and educational spheres to conquer new horizons of joint advancement.
